My sister is currently battling Cancer and is a Cancer survivor . Many prayers to Dak Prescott and his family.

I am a gamecock fan and I was sorry to hear that QB Dak Prescott lost his mom to cancer yesterday. I lost my mom to cancer so I know what he is going through. I wish to give my condolences to the Prescott family as well as the MSU family

Malcolm Johnson started the day off being named the College Football Performance Awards Tight End of the week. Against UK, Johnson had 4 catches for 70 yards and a touchdown. It was a career day for the junior.

Jameon Lewis was also honored today for the Paul Hornung Honor Roll as one of three top performers from the Paul Hornung list for the nation's most versatile player. It was the second time this season that Lewis has been awarded that honor. Saturday, Lewis had 7 catches for 53 yards and a touchdown, two carries for 22 yards and a touchdown and a 17-yard touchdown pass. It was the second time this season that Lewis rushed, passed and threw for a touchdown. He also had three kick returns for 47 yards.

Finally, Gabe Jackson was named the SEC's offensive lineman of the week for the second time this season. During the Kentucky game, the ESPN talent gushed over Jackson and his consistent dominance on the line at left guard. He's widely considered one of the top two or three guards in the country this season

MSU mens and women's teams will have scrimmages at the Hump on Wednesday at 5 p.m. Here's the full release.



STARKVILLE, Miss. ? With the start of games just a little more than two weeks away, both the Mississippi State men's and women's basketball teams will have inter-squad scrimmages on Wednesday free to the public.
Following the tent setup in the Junction for Thursday's football game against Kentucky, fans and students can head to Humphrey Coliseum for the men's 5:30 p.m. CT scrimmage, which will last just a little more than an hour.
Students will also be treated to free pizza, while learning about some of the new pregame experiences that will be unveiled at the first home game.
Then following the men's scrimmage, the women will take the court.
The Bulldogs, under the direction of second-year coach Vic Schaefer at the helm, have an exhibition game against Shorter on Nov. 4 before traveling to Houston to open the year on Nov. 8

Coming down for the Thursday night game this year. Staying in Tupelo Wednesday night planning golf for the men and shopping for the women Thursday morning. Anyone in the area know of good courses in the area. Thanks.

Junior tight end Malcolm Johnson has been named to the midseason Mackey Award Watch list. Johnson is one of 29 tight ends around the country to earn the honor. He has 10 catches this season for 112 yards..

This is the second season in a row that a Bulldog has earned the distinction as Marcus Green was named to the list last year.

The winner will be announced on December 12 as part of the ESPN Home Depot College Awards show.
