.....not a good weekend to say the least. Losing at home to a very average BAMA team does not bode well for the rest of the season. I attended Saturday's DH and came to the conclusion we have NO bullpen. Really miss Jonathan Holder more than I expected us to. And Jacob Lindgren. Really see no dominate pitchers so far this year. Best one is Austin Sexton. Glad he was able to go the distance. Otherwise, we probably would have been swept due to no true closers. Our top closer throws a max fastball at about 84-85 mph. Vandy has 5 starters and closers who all touch 100 mph on occasion and throw regularly in the mid to upper 90's. And they used to be basically a JV team in the SEC. Now they are the SEC's new established power. I expect them to repeat as NC in Omaha later this summer. Oh well, wonder how Spring football practice is coming along.
