Hey y'all, I've got some intel tonight from multiple sources in the Rivals network. It's been two and a half years since Mississippi State first offered Houston County (Ga.) three-star WR Isaiah Mitchell. The new staff re-offered this spring, but he'd really been drifting towards Cincinnati since early in the fall. Mitchell visited there in September and committed on Nov. 10.
The news, though, is that there's reportedly some staff changes on the way within the Cincinnati staff. That's played a part in Mitchell re-evaluating his options. I'm told a few schools have reached out, but the Bulldogs have been on him hard over the past few days. And unless something changes in the next 12-18 hours, sources say Mitchell plans to flip to Mississippi State tomorrow. I'm not sure when it's going down, but I've been told to expect it.
I never say 100% until it's a done deal. And because it hasn't technically happened yet, let's just say a very high percentage. But look for this one to happen very soon.
