Hey all, was at Chris Parson's high school game last night. While his Ravenwood squad suffered a 45-31 loss to Oakland, it was a very entertaining back-and-forth contest until late in the third quarter. Despite the loss, Parson was electric, throwing for 214 yards and rushing for 133. The three-star's skillset definitely fits the air raid offense of the Bulldogs as he showed off a quick, decisive release on short passes and also connected on a deep throw of over 30-yards downfield. Parson's athleticism and ability to make plays with his legs really sets him apart as well. There were a couple of times where he scrambled too long in the pocket trying to wait for receivers to get open, which resulted in bad sacks for big yardage losses. However, as previously noted, he rushed for 133 yards and broke free for a couple of long runs, juking defenders in the open field and creating plays for his team as well as first downs.

Parson is pumped to be a part of the Bulldogs class and is excited about the direction of the program and being in a 2023 class that also features fellow Tennesseans Joe Crocker and Justin Brown.
