SEC Times, TV Announced For Women’s Hoops
STARKVILLE, Miss. – Mississippi State women’s basketball will have 14 of its 16 Southeastern Conference games televised this season, the league office announced Wednesday.
The Bulldogs will play on the SEC Network seven times and appear on either ESPNU or ESPN2 in seven more contests.
State’s Feb. 8 game at Florida and its Feb. 22 home game against Auburn will both be live online stream only on SEC Network +.
MSU’s first four conference games will be broadcast on the SEC Network. The Dawgs begin league play at Georgia Dec. 31 at 5 p.m. CT, while the Jan. 4 home opener against Arkansas will tip at 8 p.m.
After playing on the SEC Network at 1 p.m. in Baton Rouge, La., on Jan. 7, the Bulldogs return to Humphrey Coliseum Jan. 11 for an 8 p.m. showdown against Ole Miss.
State makes its first appearance on ESPNU Jan. 14, hosting Alabama at 3 p.m. Seven days later, Vic Schaefer’s Bulldogs travel to Knoxville, Tenn., where they won for the first time in program history last season, for a 2 p.m. contest on ESPN2.
MSU’s Jan. 25 home date against Florida begins at 7:30 p.m. on SEC Network, while its return trip to Oxford on Jan. 28 is scheduled for 1 p.m. on ESPNU.
After facing Missouri (Feb. 1) on the SEC Network at 7:30 p.m., Mississippi State returns to the Hump Feb. 5 for a Big Monday national title game rematch against South Carolina at 6 p.m. on ESPN2.
The Bulldogs’ Feb. 11 home contest against Kentucky will air on ESPNU at 1 p.m., and the SEC Network will carry the Feb. 15 road date at Vanderbilt at 7:30 p.m.
MSU’s Feb. 18 home game against Texas A&M will be played on either ESPNU or ESPN2 at 1 p.m. or 4 p.m. Either of those networks will also pick up the regular-season finale at Kentucky, with tip scheduled for 11 a.m. or 3 p.m.

The 2017-18 squad hosts Arkansas-Fort Smith at 6 p.m. on Nov. 3 before officially opening the campaign Nov. 10 against Virginia in a doubleheader with the Bulldog men’s team.
