I can confirm the reports that Arnett flew to Baton Rouge, and is interviewing with Ed Orgeron for the DC job today.
Arnett is not the only candidate for the job, but the move is interesting nonetheless after recent developments with him and other schools suggested he was set to return for a second season in Starkville.
It is unclear at this time what the next step is for Arnett and LSU following this news. His buyout is around $2 million I am told, so this would not be a cheap move for the Bayou Bengals if they opt to go down that road.
