Thought it was interesting to see Dylan Lawrence working with the first team over Jalen Green. Green has had a solid camp and I think this was more of an opportunity to see Lawrence with the 1s as both are expected to contribute.
The offense had a pretty good day and Rara Thomas stood out amongst the receivers. He was a consistent target to move the chains and caught a 35 yard TD from Will Rogers.
Austin Williams was also very consistent short passing option as usual in team drills and was dominant in red zone 1v1s drawing multiple pass interference penalties.
The offensive line overall had a better day and Kam Jones and Albert Reese seem to be getting more comfortable at their new positions.
Jevon Banks got in some more reps with Crumedy out and he forced a fumble on Ducking where he ripped the ball away from him.
Overall the offense really won the day after the defense was much better over the weekend but I do like where Mississippi State is at cornerback wise with Decam and Marcus Banks and of course Emmanuel Forbes.
