Week Ten - Saturday – SEC 2016

Georgia Southern Eagles (28pt DOG) @ Ole Miss Rebels….
Ole Miss Rebels??? More like the “Hot Mess” Rebels. The Rebels look to end their 3 game losing streak by hosting Georgia Southern this coming weekend in Oxford. The Eagles are a ball control triple option team. You have to play disciplined football to win or the “eye-candy” will get you beat. Ole Miss has done everything but play disciplined football this year. The game isn’t about which team has better athletes. This game is all about job assignments. If you’re assigned the QB, then you better take the QB each and every play. About the time you think you have the Eagles QB figured out and you decide to crash inside to make a tackle on the RB; yeaaaa that’s the very time the QB will pull the ball and sprint for about a 40 yard gain!!! Ole Miss is going to score when they get the ball. The problem is; can they stop Georgia Southern from picking up 1st downs long enough to get the ball to score? If they can’t, they may not get too many opportunities to score. The Rebels get back on tract this week but these Eagles will be like pesky flies at the dinner table that just won’t go away….Rebels win but do not cover 45-24!!!

#4 Texas A&M Aggies (13pt FAV) @ Mississippi State Bulldogs….
The Aggies exploded on New Mexico State last week after suffering a hard loss to the Crimson Tide the week before. This week the Aggies look to keep their winning ways going and their national playoff hopes alive after seeing the first meeting of playoff committee put them into the number 4 overall spot. They will arrive in StarkVegas with a mission. Being ranked ahead of unbeaten Washington; the Aggies will have to blow teams out the rest of the year to keep Washington from leapfrogging them at the end of the year. As far as the Bulldogs goes; winning their remaining games is equivalent to climbing Mount Everest--------in the dark-------in the winter---------blindfolded!!! The only good thing that’s gonna to happen to the Bulldogs this coming weekend; they’ll be finished by 3pm and able to enjoy the last day of Daylight Savings before we go into the dark ages of winter…….Aggies win and cover 42-24!!!

Vanderbilt Commodores (26.5pt DOG) @ #9 Auburn Tigers….
If you were to slip on Coach Derek Mason’s head set in the fourth quarter this coming Saturday; you would probably hear something similar to this being repeated over and over:
MAYDAY MAYDAY MAYDAY ………………….All systems overload……….This is Mr. Commodore of the flag ship Vanderbilt…………We have declared an emergency…………we have a massive hole in our “Broadside” “Runside” defense…………..we are taking in water and sinking fast………..MAYDAY MAYDAY MAYDAY!!!........Tigers win but do not cover 38-14!!!

#11 Florida Gators (4.5pt FAV) @ Arkansas Razorbacks….
The Gators defense will continue to play lights out knowing that they now have a healthy QB Luke Del Rio to lean on and that they now control their own destiny. They will not over look this Razorback team but beating the Hawgs in Razorback Stadium won’t be an easy task. Arkansas forgot to show up last week in Auburn. I can guarantee they will show up this coming Saturday. There’s nothing better at getting the taste of Alabama Tiger-poo out of your mouth than chewing on a Gator tail from Florida. Bring your hearing protection if you don’t like hearing loud noises because this game is going to be an old fashion slobber knobbier knocker!!!.....Gators win but do not cover 27-24!!!

Missouri Tigers (7pt DOG) @ South Carolina Gamecocks….
Coach Will Muschamp was seen running around Columbia this week with his new Bentley!!! Not the car but the Star!!! True Freshman Gamecock QB Jake Bentley is 2-0 since his start and just went from unknown to known on the national scene. The Gamecocks season just got life breathed back into it!!! If Cocky can take care of Missouri this week there’s a 95% chance they become bowl eligible this year. Opportunities are limited; so this game is their best shot. The Tigers on the other hand are trying to stop a 4 game losing streak and they seemed to have taken a step backward. QB Drew Lock’s cannon arm has been misfiring alot lately. Can he get it back on track against this streaky South Carolina secondary??? The answer is NO; this Missouri team has more issues than a flat tired ’57 Chevy with a busted radiator hose. The Gamecocks continue their rise this weekend at Williams-Brice….Cocks win and cover 35-27!!!

Tennessee Tech Golden Eagles (23.5pt DOG) @ Tennessee Volunteers….
After losing to the Gamecocks last weekend this Volunteer team may have to resort to drawing for straws just to see who gets to go first on scoring on this Golden Eagle football team. The Volunteers are going to score so much on this Tennessee Tech team that they might have to invent new ways of scoring just to keep from getting bored. With the unexpected departure of RB Jalen Hurd this week, we should expect the Volunteers to be looking for volunteers at running back in this game. And btw, don’t be surprised if Tennessee gets better at the running back position instantly. As far as Tennessee Tech goes, the only good thing I can say about them; they must be brave!!!.....Volunteers win and cover 48-24!!!

Georgia Bulldogs (2.5pt FAV) @ Kentucky Wildcats….
No way is this Wildcat team ready to let go of their momentum. Georgia will have to pry it from their dead paws. The Wildcats are surely to become bowl eligible with Austin Peay coming up soon. So, the only real question is; which bowl game can they get to? Each week’s win will sweeten the pot for the Wildcats and their fans. Georgia’s fan base on the other hand may have checked out after the Vandy loss. The Bulldog players might show up in Lexington this coming Saturday but I doubt the Georgia fans will show up. The Wildcats are on a 4 game winning streak at home. Momentum, night lights, bowl game aspirations and excited fans = No basketball jokes!!! Wildcats win and pocket the points 30-28!!!

#1 Alabama Crimson Tide (7.5pt FAV) @ #13 LSU Tigers….
LSU is excited to be hosting Alabama on their homefield at Death Valley this coming weekend but can you guess who else is excited about playing at “DEATH” Valley???.....That would be Coach Dick Satan!!! He has won 7 out 12 matchups vs. Tigers which gives him a 64% winning % against LSU!!! And at Death Valley; his winning % goes up to 75%!!! Even more interesting; Coach Dick Satan has a career winning % of 80% over his current team, Alabama. When he coached at LSU he beat Alabama 4 out of 5 matchups with his only loss being recorded at Death Valley where he was shut out 31-0 by Alabama. So, who’s going to win this game??? Well, the Tigers are definitely a better football team in “Week 10” vs. “Week 1” plus they’re finally healthy. Unfortunately for them; so is Alabama!!!.....Tide rolls and covers 38-24!!!
