Week Nine - Saturday – SEC 2016
Kentucky Wildcats (5pt DOG) @ Missouri Tigers….
Two cats will be fighting like dogs this coming Saturday. The Kentucky Wildcats and their fan base are desperate for a bowl game this year and will have the claws out!!!! This game would almost guarantee a bowl game for the Wildcats. Mizzou on the other hand just wants to stop the bleeding. They have lost three “in-a-row” to three very good football teams. This week; they are playing a “not so good” Wildcat football team!!!........The bleeding stops in Missouri this Saturday!!!........Tigers win and cover 38-28!!!
#14 Florida Gators (7.5pt FAV) @ Georgia Bulldogs….
Looks like the World’s Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party just turned into a local cocktail wiener party!!! Normally this game is relative on the national scene but this year it looks like it’s less relative than the local Prom Queen. The Dawgs of Georgia are coming off a devastating road loss to Vanderbilt and things probably won’t get better this week. The Gators of Florida are a different football team with QB Luke Del Rio in the huddle. The defense, which is already dominate, actually raises its level of play when they know the offense is going to be helping them toe the line. This Georgia offensive line will not be able to hold up against this Gator defensive front. Georgia’s QB Jacob Eason will be running for his life most of the day; and when that happens, bad decisions are usually made…….Gators win and cover 33-24!!!
Samford Bulldogs (34.5pt DOG) @ Mississippi State Bulldogs….
The only thing remotely interesting to watch for in this game will be to see if Bully decides to waddle over to the Samford sideline to visit his cousin Spike before kickoff just to play a quick game of “Smell-the-Tail”!!! Past seeing an assault on a dog’s hindquarters; I got nothing for this game!!! Miss State should be a 4 to 5 TD favorite but the chemistry on this team is so bad right now that they’ll struggle to beat this Samford team. And btw, they could lose; Samford is 6-1 for a reason. This “Pass-Happy” Bulldog team is a “Fun-n-Gun” offense built on the explosive play plus they just last week knocked off pre-season Southern Conference contender Western Carolina. Miss State’s secondary, the Bullpuppies, will need to grow up real quick if they want to avoid being on a Samford offensive highlight film. I’m going to give the hometeam the benefit of the doubt in this matchup plus QB Nick Fitzgerald shouldn’t have to complete a single pass against this weaken run-stop Samford defense. But don’t be surprised if you look up at the clock late in the 4th quarter and you’re still wondering who’s going to win this game!!! Bulldogs win but do not cover 42-31!!!
#15 Auburn Tigers (4pt FAV) @ Ole Miss Rebels….
Just like Elvis, Hotty Toddy has left the building!!! (uh-huh-huh-------------thank ya, thank ya very much!!!) I think this Rebel team may have mentally checked out after losing to Arkansas two weeks ago. With high expectations from a team that was expected to compete on a national level; the fall has been hard. LSU’s RB Leonard Fournette physically hammered the Rebels into submission last weekend with Coach Orgeron’s “Ground and Pound” attack. This deflated, dejected Rebel team will be “quick to quit” if they get down early on this “Red-Hot” Tiger team. The only good thing this week for the Rebels; they’re back playing in Oxford in front of the faithful. I don’t see the Rebels getting back on track against this Auburn team. Auburn has gotten better each week on offense with the progression of QB Sean White and their defense continues to shine with the bright star of LB Carl Lawson casting most of the light. Auburn comes into this game still fresh from the bye week the week before. And lastly this Tiger team won’t beat themselves by turning over the football on offense but there’s a good chance their defense is going to force the Rebels and QB Chad Kelly into some turnovers…….War Damn Eagle wins and covers 38-28!!!

What are the odds of South Carolina beating the Volunteers of Tennessee this coming weekend???
