I have had a lot of people contact me in the last 24 or so hours asking about whether or not Mississippi State is going to lose anymore of their off-the-field staff to other schools.
While it cannot be completely ruled out, and after spending quite a bit of time talking to sources regarding the matter, at this time it seems like at most they may lose one additional member of the recruiting staff.
If that comes to fruition, it would be a situation where she would be leaving for a rather large opportunity, at a school much closer to her original home.
As for the other side of the recruiting staff, I do not anticipate any major changes at this time. The rumor regarding Mason Smith, if it did in-fact come to fruition, would be a very big loss for the program.
Smith was involved in the recruitment of numerous signees, as well as transfers Tyrell Shavers and KJ Costello.
Things can change rather quickly on these types of things, but I wanted to update you all on what I have heard thus far.
