Mississippi State offered Juco OL Leon Bell earlier this evening. I exchanged a few messages with him and he said he was thankful for the offer. He said Mississippi State loves how he plays and they say he can do big things.

He also said that he is friends with Mississippi State sophomore Canon Boone who he was teammates with in high school.

He says he most likely plans to sign in the earlier signing period. I’m not quite ready to put in a futurecast but there’s a decent chance Bell becomes your Joe Crocker replacement.

I’ve put in futurecast predictions for Mississippi State to land Vicksburg four-star DT Caleb Bryant and Southwest Miss CC DE Eric Taylor.

Both players officially visited Mississippi State this month. For Taylor, State was his only visit while Bryant also visited Georgia Tech.

Taylor not taking other visits puts Mississippi State in position to land him and I believe they have the upper hand against GA Tech for Bryant with signing day approaching on Wednesday.

My Thoughts and prayers are with Coach Leach’s Family and all of the Mississippi State Bulldogs nation. He was a great coach, and an even better man!

State will be in my prayers.

He lifted us out of the gutter. We are all saddened by this horrible loss.
Our heartfelt condolences to to all the Bulldog family.
But mainly to CMLs family.

Mike might have left just before the season started, but every Sooner fan knows he brought us our last title with Heupel. Leach will always be a Sooner and Bulldog! Fighting pirates forever. RIP Coach!

We are so sorry for the loss of coach Mike Leach. Since his days as OC at UK I have watched his innovative style of offense. It was such an exciting style of football. Payers for his family, players and MSU fans in this time of grief 😔

This is just awful news. Have been a fan of Mike ever since he was at UK.Prayers to his family and all Mississippi State fans in this hour of grief. God Bless you all.

Wishing the Pirate and M. State fans the best. We are praying for Mike and you guys! The Jumbo Tron at Jones Stadium in Lubbock has a giant picture of Mike with two crossed swords with the Words: Swing your Sword. He will be forever loved in Lubbock by Tech fans. He had the most wins in a 10 year span for Tech.

I appreciated Coach Leach's talent and his humor. He is a great coach. Prayers to the family and the school and his team.
