STARKVILLE, Miss. – Mississippi State’s 2016 non-conference football game at BYU will kick off in primetime on Friday, Oct. 14 and be televised by either ESPN or ESPN2, it was announced Monday.
The official game time will be released later this fall.
The Bulldogs make the trek to Provo for the first time since Sept. 14, 2000. MSU, behind three defensive touchdowns, beat the Cougars 44-28 on that date in Lavell Edwards Stadium. BYU returns the trip to Starkville on Oct. 14, 2017.
