for the Tigers?

The question everyone seems to ask is, who has the advantage because LSU's opener was cancelled.

1. Advantage LSU - players are fresher and more eager for an opener. MSU has not had an opportunity to
scout LSU or see any film beyond 12 plays.

2. Advantage MSU - played an entire game, which enables the staff to make adjustments. Players hae been bllooded and are less likely to make stupid (first game type) mistakes. It allows the team to develop much needed cohesion under game conditions. The Bulldogs are at home.

The last time LSU played an FBS opponent, who had a tuneup game and LSU did not, LSU lost the game.

All else equal MSU should have a slight advantage with respect to the cancellation. This does not necessarily mean MSU will win the game. There are many other factors, which must be considered.

Good luck Dawgs and Geaux Tigers
